New GMAT Fact Sheet
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is the gatekeeper to business school enrollment and, as a result, to many top-level management jobs across the United States.
A new four-page FairTest fact sheet summarizes information about the GMAT with an emphasis on the test’s biases, its weak predictive value, and the widespread misuse of cutoff scores for admissions and financial aid. The publication also includes tips for how admissions officers, faculty, alumni/ae, civil rights activists, and students can most effectively work to reduce the GMAT’s role in the business school admissions process.
The new GMAT fact sheet is available on the web at http://www.fairtest.org.
Printed copies are available by sending a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope to FairTest, PO Box 300204, Boston, MA 02130. For bulk orders, email the office at email@example.com
